Simply Bhubaneswar!!!

Bhubaneswar City in Orissa (India) is where I grew up ... the sights and sounds that were so dear to me then appeared in glimpses while I visited it after 8 years. The new city has expanded beyond my wildest imagination, the voices are more alien than familiar and the sights were crowed with the hustle and bustle of a major metropolitian city.

It still remains a city of Temples and you can always catch a dreamy-eyed-kid wandering through the bylanes ... I for one was mesmerized by the greenery that still surrounds it, and love 'youtubing' the city. • Film Society's "Inscreen International Film Festival": This appears to be shot near 'Old Town', near Lingaraj Mandir and Bindusagar ... ask someone from the city about the 'abhada' (parasaad rice and dalma) that you get there!!!

• "The last day of college": An awesome video of the real life of students there, no script just the 'bhasa' ....one can hear a mix of khanti 'Oriya' and 'Hindi' ....my fav quote from this clip is "Sunil bhai...Sunil bhai ...thoda hasiye"
